John Burnside wins the TS Eliot Poetry Prize

Scottish poet John Burnside has won the distinguished TS Eliot Poetry Prize for 2012, for his 11th book Black Cat Bone. When asked about his views on an investment company funding the prize, Burnside expressed to have no reservations about this matter and rather suggested that it is a positive step when businesses support the arts.

The winner’s prize money is £15,000.
